The family of a child who received life-threatening injuries after being hurled from the 10th floor of the art gallery have announced their "brave warrior" has reached his goal of being able to jump, swim, and run again.

The French child was six when he was thrown from a railing by a youth, then 17 years old.

The child, who was traveling with his family in the summer of 2019 when targeted, endured a 100ft plunge but received life-changing injuries, such as a cranial bleeding and fractures.

His family stated in an update on a donation site, they were delighted that he had been successful to improve with his swimming, running and jumping before his upcoming operation.
